Delivery
- Cigars & Tobacco - delivery is FREE for orders from Gauntleys Tobacco & Cigars of over £50. For orders of less than £50 the delivery cost is based on the approximate weight.
- Wine - delivery is FREE for all cases of 12, and for all orders of 12 bottles or more, delivered directly from our bonded warehouse. For fewer than 12 bottles there is a simple fixed price of £4.95 per order
- Whisky & Spirits are delivered from our Nottingham shop for a simple fixed price of £4.95 per order
The total delivery cost will always be shown in your basket
International Orders
We currently only deliver to the UK from this website. However we may be able to ship some items to other countries. Please use our contact form or call us on +44 115 911 0555.
Please note: Unfortunately we cannot send tobacco products to the USA
Wine Delivery
All our wines are dispatched directly from a temperature controlled warehouse and deliveries are carried out by specialist wine couriers, London City Bond. We have worked with London City Bond for many years and their duty of care is second to none.
Generally speaking wine deliveries can take up to five working days from date order is received. However, delivery times are frequently much less depending upon which part of the country you are from. They can deliver to a neighbours address or leave in a specific safe place around your home if you are out and about.
If you would prefer the wines to be delivered to a work address then you can give us seperate delivery and billing addresses at the checkout.
Whisky & Spirits Delivery
Whisky and spirits are dispatched from our shop using a national courier company. We use TNT's overnight service which normally arrives in most parts of the UK the day after we dispatch.
Cigar and Tobacco Delivery
All our loose cigars are packaged in a humi-pouch designed to ensure they arrive in perfect condition. Don't forget we check them before we send them out.
Full packets of five or ten cigars are opened to check that the cigars are in the correct condition, re-sealed then sent using a special padded envelope.
Full outers of cigars or tobacco are sealed in outer boxes surrounded by soft packing material.
Tobacco pouches are not opened as they arrive vacuumed packed already but are sent out in special padded envelopes.

Alternative Delivery Addresses
We all know how infuritaing it is to be (a) worken at 7.00 in the morning to sign for a small package (my postman doesn't come at 7.00, lucky if he come at all. Ed) or (b) picking up a note on your hall floor saying you have a package waiting for you at your local post office (which only open strange hours).
If it is possible to give us a delivery address (office, Mother-in Law etc...) where someone is usually around to sign, it is always helpful!
