The base is made up from Kentucky Shag and a dark Virginia & Kentucky flake, a good helping of Perique (16%) and a little Turkish to keep it burning well. The aroma is spectacular, dark fire cured leafs mixed with pungent Perique. The flake has been left part broken, part intact.
A strong mixture, only suggested for the Perique lovers out there. The high ratio 16% creates a powerful smoke, while the base really gives the mix some spine.

A blend of dark plugs. The regular smoke of Krys from the Nottingham Pipe Club.
The mixture or Irish Plug and English Plug produces a very rich and strong tobacco. Best smoked in a large bowl. Leave mainly in pieces, with some smaller bits broken off around. A powerful and spicy blend of Perique, Burley & Virginias. Built up on a Burley base, with some flue & fire cured Virginias and a very big helping of Perique. It took us a lot of experimenting to get the balance just right and in the end we used a slight maple topping on the Virginias to add a little sweetness.

A new permanent stock line for both the shop and our website. This blend of Virginia's, Turkish & a touch of Kentucky. This English Blend with no Perique or Latakia went down a storm at the September Nottingham Pipe club, were it was used for the "2011 Slow Smoking Championships"
