Glynn Quelch (Gauntleys)

Holland House was released in the UK in the 60's it was aimed at younger smokers looking for something a little different to other tobaccos available at the time. Unlike Clan, which was released at the same time, Holland House is thin cut golden Cavendish, without the excessive casing or added flavours. It burns a little slower than you would expect, but can be viscous on the tongue if smoked too fast. The flavours produced by this tobacco are more natural woody, leathery tones. This tobacco for all aromatic smokers is a must try. One word of warning, this blend is a bit dry out of the packet, and will dry out very fast if left open. To maintain this tobacco I would recommend transferring to a tin and keeping it closed will prevent this tobacco becoming tinder. As with the Kendal Red this blend would be great mixed 50-50 or 60-40 with Black Cavendish.
