Glynn Quelch (Gauntleys)

A blend of dark and bright grade Virginia and Perique. Pressed together and allowed to mature before being pressed into thin plates, the mature plates are then spun with a black Cavendish core and again left to mature before being cut into small discs and tinned. This ageing process allows the pungent flavours of the perique to marry with the sweet virginias. This escudo blend is slow burning with a high nicotine content with fig & prune aromas.
