Celebrating a Jubilee?
With only a short amount of time before the big weekend, we thought we should remind you to get your celebratory cigars in, ready for the party. We have selected 10 cigars below, which we feel will mark the occasion in an exemplary fashion and offer up great value for money. If you are going to help Her Majesty The Queen celebrate, you need to do it in style!
Bolivar Belicosos Finos - Single
A rich, deep earthy Belicoso that packs a bit of a punch, but in a very elegant way. A great choice to follow a spicy meal.
Brick House Robusto Havana Subido Wrapper - Single
Brick House cigars first came on the scene in 1937 when production began in America using 100% imported Cuban leaf. The Embargo saw the end of these cigars along with many other brands that used pure Cuban leaf. Then in 2009, JC Newman resurrected the brand using Nicaraguan filler and Ecuadoran grown Havana Subido seed wrapper.
The cigar is packed full of sweet spices and woods. A little pepper comes into play at the halfway point, but on the whole, it's a cool and creamy cigar. Not too strong for a novice and enough flavours to act as a mid-day smoke for the more seasoned Nicaraguan smoker.
Cohiba Siglo II - Single
As with all Cohiba Siglo cigars the flavours are little smoother and creamier compared to the other Cohibas. The Siglo II is one of our biggest selling Cohiba cigars. Creamy with subtle cocoa/coffee bean and grassy flavours. The Siglo II is big enough for more experienced smoker to enjoy a short smoke and for less experienced smokers to truly savour the Cohiba flavours.
Davidoff Winston Churchill Belicosos - Single
A complex and exciting blend that reflects the character of Sir Winston Churchill. The blend features tobaccos from multiple origins and includes 5 fillers tobaccos and a dark brown oily Ecuadorian wrapper. These are silky smooth and thoroughly enjoyable.
Hiram & Solomon Master Mason Maduro Toro - Single
A full-bodied blend with a velvety Maduro wrapper. Notes of sweet leather and cocoa produce a rich flavour enhanced only by a pronounced cedar aroma that lingers on the finish.
Oscar Valladares Tobacco & Co McFly Sixty - Single
If you enjoyed the Oscar Superfly with its wonderful 1970's look you are going to love this! This retro-looking cigar has a very 1980's thing going on. With a big nod to the Back To The Future series of films, including naming the cigar after the lead character Marty McFly.
The McFly is a medium to full-bodied smoke that utilises an exciting blend of premium aged filler tobaccos from the Dominican Republic, Honduras and Nicaragua, bound together with a Honduran binder and draped in a gorgeous Mexican wrapper. You will notice that the foot of the cigar is feathered so is not neat and tidy like some. The smoke is quite deep with a soft salinity at the start before it develops a little sweetness. This has notes of leather and gentle spice and although the sweetness retreats slightly during the smoke it makes a welcome return towards the climax. Definitely one to enjoy with a coffee or dark rum.
Partagas Corona Gordas Anejados - Single
Box aged in Cuba for approximately 9 years before release, these very mature Partagas are a wonderful smoke. Although these are still relatively full-bodied like the Partagas should be, they have a rather ethereal elegance to them whilst still being richly flavoured and smooth.
Rocky Patel Disciple Toro - Single
Crafted from the finest tobacco in Nicaragua, showcasing a signature Mexican San Andrés wrapper, this exquisite composition has come together to create a medium to full-bodied profile filled with smooth notes of wood, earth, and a subtle hint of pepper.
In all of our years creating world-class cigars, we’ve never produced anything that more rigorously adheres to our high standards and dedication to quality. We call it: The Disciple, and it’s anything but a follower.
