Finally, after what has been a long wait, the 'Cigar Of The Year 2015' as voted for by Cigar Aficionado magazine�has finally made it across the water and has landed safely in our humidor!. For the second time in his career, Jose 'Pepin' Garcia has won the award and in the process scored a mighty 97 points out of 100 for this wonderful creation.

The 'My Father' story begins in 2003 when Jose and his family set up a small cigar company in Little Havana in Miami. Born in 1950 in Cuba, Jose's family were part of�the Cuban tobacco industry and it was here, as he grew up, that he learned how to roll a cigar. From their small beginnings in Miami, Jose in 2009�opened his 'My Father Cigars' factory in Esteli in Nicaragua, a seven acre complex that used high-tech methods for processing and packaging the tobaccos. It is from this site that all of Jose's production comes from today, which is several million sticks a year!�In 2012, Jose won the 'Cigar Of The Year' award for the first time for the Flor De La Antilla Toro. This stunning middle weight Nicaraguan cigar launched Jose in to the limelight.�These days Jose is assisted�by his son Jaime, who helps blend and market the cigars and it was with his help that Jose produced this years winning cigar.

Jose wanted to make a cigar in honour of his father, also named Jose who was born in 1922 and this is the result. The 'Le Bijou 1922' Torpedo is a full bodied cigar�displaying some big powerful flavours, whilst at the same time showing some delicacy. The finish is long and extremely rewarding.
