Not only is Cuban tobacco used in the blend, but that tobacco is over 40 YEARS OLD. Combining the soul of Cuba and the spirit of Nicaragua the resulting cigar has rich, opulent aromas and a dense, yet rounded palate. Because of the age of the tobacco used, these have an elegance rarely found in modern-day cigar production.
The Meerapfel name is possibly one that you might not recognise, however, they have a long history of tobacco growing and trading (and cigar making) spanning centuries. Formed in Untergrombach in the Karlsruhe region of Germany they have access to some of the world's finest tobaccos.
