Manager's Top 5 Cigars
We are at the mid-way point in the year, so I thought the time was right to give you my Top 5 cigars for the first half of the year. There have been many stellar examples of wonderful cigars so far this year and I have to admit to have found it difficult to pick just 5. Even if I were to pick ten, I would still be leaving out a number favourites, so apologies to the likes of Partagas Maduro No.1, [Ashton VSG Belicoso] and Joya De Nicaragua Cuatro Cinco Doble Robusto
-
Joya De Nicaragua Black Robusto - Nicaragua - Medium to full bodied and packed with deep, dark flavours.
-
La Galera 'El Lector' Robusto - Dominican Republic - A medium bodied stunner from the Dominican.
-
Partagas Corona Gorda Anejados - Cuba - A more mellow expression of the Partagas derived from the 8 or so years box ageing in Cuba before release.
-
Trinidad Topes Edicion Limitada 2016 - Cuba - ONLY AVAILABLE IN STORE. The latest release from Trinidad and now highly sought after. Very limited in availability - if you are interested call us on 01159 110555 for availability and price.
- Drew Estate Kentucky Fire Cured Fat Molly - Nicaragua - This was in my top 10 for last year too - Full bodied, smokey and sweet(ish).
