We are pleased to announce that our next cigar event will take place at 6pm on Wednesday 27th of May and will feature the cigars of Casa Turrent, one of Mexico's top producers of quality cigars. Now, as you can imagine, in these strange times we have to do things a little differently, so rather than you coming along to us, we are coming to you, if not in body at least in spirit, via the internet!

For many people here in the UK Mexico is not one of those countries that you think of for quality cigar production, but there a number of producers, Casa Turrent being one of them where everything is about the quality. Not only that, they also have many years of experience producing these wonderful cigars and can trace their history all the way back to 1880, which by pure happenstance, was the very same year that Gauntleys was founded by Thomas Fox Gauntley. As we both are now elder statesmen within the tobacco industry it only feels right that we share the limelight. Now we are not only featuring the cigars of Casa Turrent, but we also have a special guest honour for the evening as we will be joined live by none other than Alejandro Turrent the CEO of Casa Turrent from his home in Mexico!.

The evening will be live on the ZOOM platform from 6pm on Wednesday 27th May and will feature 2 cigars. We will be tasting the Casa Turrent Origenes Nicaragua with Alejandro for our 'live from Mexico' segment, and for the 'after-hours fiesta,' we will be tasting Casa Turrent Origenes Miami. To join us (and get the cigars) you will need to order the following Tasting Kit. The kit contains both cigars packaged in a humi-pouch and also the all-important password for the evening, without which you won't be able to join us.
