Ladies Only Cigar Evening - Wednesday 9th October - Single
Although our cigar evenings are very successful and are the highlight of every Nottinghamshire based cigar smokers social calendar, very few ladies attend. In the course of my working week in the store, I see and speak to a large number of ladies who smoke cigars (which is fantastic) but no matter how hard I try to convince them to come along, I just can't seem to get many to join us at the tastings. To redress this and to encourage more ladies along to our regular cigar evenings we are going to trial a LADIES ONLY CIGAR NIGHT. Yes ladies, no guys apart from me! The evening is about you enjoying an evening of cigars at your own pace in the company of likeminded ladies.
The evening will be held in Nottingham City Centre (venue TBC) and will commence at 7 pm until around 10 pm'ish. Our guest presenter for the evening will be Helen Groome from TOR Imports, the importers of the cigars that we will be tasting. For the princely sum of �25.00, you will get to taste two wonderful cigars. The first will be from Nicaragua and it is the Alec Bradley American Classic Robusto (rrp £13.83) which is light-bodied and quite rounded and should ease us gently into the evening. The second cigar which is from the Dominican Republic has a bit more weight and power behind it. The Buena Vista Araperique (rrp £15.90) is one of my current favourites as it is a deep, slightly sweet and spicy smoke!
Hopefully, we will see you there, for what promises to be, a fun and entertaining evening.

UK delivery
We use Royal Mail which normally arrives the next working day if you order before 2pm, although this is not guaranteed. To guarantee that your order does arrive by 1pm the next day please call the shop on 01159 110555 to arrange. Your order will be then sent out by Special Delivery. There will be a small extra additional charge for this service. The standard delivery cost is shown in the basket page and in the checkout.
Click and collect
You can click and collect from our Nottingham shop. Select click and colllect in the checkout to save the delivery cost, pay online prices (which can sometimes be lower) and check your items are available before heading into town.
Pre delivery check
We check all cigars before they are sent out. Loose cigars are packaged in a humi-pouch designed to ensure they arrive in perfect condition. Packets of cigars are opened to check that the cigars are in the correct condition, re-sealed then sent using a special padded envelope.

Delivery outside the UK
For all delivery destinations outside of the UK - although your order is not subject to UK VAT it will be subject to the local taxes and duties of your country. These charges are usually levied once the package reaches your country. Any additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country, so you will need to contact your local customs office if you require further information.
