Based in the Dominican Republic, Buena Vista originally were produced in Mexico. Founded originally in 2009 Buena Vista cigars were first retailed in 2011 but by 2014 the brand had disappeared off the market altogether. Initially they were priced at the premium end of the market which made them quite expensive (even by American standards!) which is part of the reason they disappeared. Relaunched in 2016 the brand has steadily grown and has finally reached these shores.
