Macanudo was brought by General Cigar Company in 1968. Prior to that it was owned by the Cullmans who where the fist to grow havana seed in Connecticut and produce the now commonly used Connecticut wrapper found on many cigars.

Macanudo is now one of America's more popular premium cigars. Offering a Mild medium strength sweet smoke.
