Pete Johnson created the Tatuaje in 2003 when he sat down with Jose "Pepin" Garcia and asked the Garcia family to create a cigar close to a classic Havana but using Nicaraguan tobaccos. The result was amazing and Tatuaje are now one of the most respected boutique cigar companies out there.

Each cigar is made using Cuban methods, from the folding of the filler to the ageing and fermentation process. All of this is obvious in the taste, these cigars carry some wonderful rich and earthy flavours.
