Cigar Evenings 2025
Undoubtedly, some of the most eagerly anticipated events in the Gauntleys (social) calendar are our cigar evenings. Starting way back in 2012, our cigar evenings have grown steadily over the years and now cater for 50-plus people on a good night. Run in a relaxed and informal way, you will be guaranteed to have a great evening! Each event is structurally the same, however, the cigars and brands featured will change every month. There will nearly always be a guest host who will join us on the night to talk us through their cigars and occasionally we have a cigar maker join us too. Over the years we have been delighted to have been joined by the likes of Rocky Patel, Nick Perdomo, Robert Caldwell and E P Carrillo to name but a few and all of whom have been very entertaining in their own, unique way.
The evenings are educational, so you can ask as many questions as you want throughout the evening or, if you are inclined, you can just sit and enjoy the cigars as they are, the choice is yours. Did I mention that these evenings are quite social too? Many long and lasting friendships having been formed over the years purely down to the cigar evenings, so it makes it worthwhile just for that!

Gauntleys Cigar Club Warped Cigar Evening - Thursday March 27th 2025 - Single
In a change to our previously advertised program we now bring you an evening of Warped Cigars - A brand that has only just been launched in the UK. For those of you who are taking part in the evening, you will be among the very first UK customers to get try them.
There will be two cigars on the night, plus the usual raffle. We will be joined by Phil Matthews of Bright Leaf Ltd for this one who will give us the info on the brand and the ethos behind it.
The evening will be held at the Trent Navigation, Meadow Lane, Nottingham, starting at 7pm.

We will be joined by Tim Owen of Hunters & Frankau, the UK agents for Cuban cigars.

Gauntleys Cigar Club Foundation Cigars Cigar Evening - Thursday June 26th 2025 - Single
Time for a new supplier to join us for his first solo cigar event with us. Many of you will no doubt remember George Frakes who joined us for our multi-supplier event last August - he was the chap who came dressed for the part in his retro 1940's look. Not only did his look catch a few eyes, his chosen cigar that night was awarded the coveted 'Cigar Of The Night' award too for the Foundation Cigars Olmec Toro.
We are delighted to welcome George back with some other Foundation Cigars - it promises to be a wonderful night!

Gauntleys Cigar Club Summer Cigar Festival - Thursday July 31st 2025 - Single
You will want to ensure that you are booked on this one, as it is the first of our two Cigar Festivals for 2025, this one taking place in the summer months with the next taking place in December.
So, what's so special about our Cigar Festivals? Well it's one of the few times that we manage to get representatives from all our major suppliers in the same place at the same time, allowing you the opportunity to ask them all questions about their chosen cigars.
