Cigars Under A Tenner!
If you are like me, January is the month that you take stock of where you are after the madness of the festive period. Some of us will have been very canny and will have successfully 'balanced the books'. However, if you are like me, you have spent too much in December and need to reign in the spending habit! Now, none of us want to go without, but with a little management, we can continue to enjoy a cigar or two, whilst also watching our spending. With that in mind, I have selected a range of interesting and eminently enjoyable cigars, all of which are under £10 per stick. La Aurora Principes Claro and the Principes Maduro. Both are Robusto sized and priced at under a tenner each. Considering the price these cigars, they are amazingly good quality for the money.
Another little cigar that gets me all worked up at the moment is made by La Flor Dominicana, winners of the Cigar Of The Year award for the Andalusian Bull. The El Carajon is small, but perfectly formed in every way. Measuring 4 inches by 34 ring gauge this delivers in the flavour department where many cigars fail. It is also, considering the size, extremely well priced for what is a 20-minute smoke. If you want something quite robust for your buck, then the Jose Piedra Petit Cazadores should do the trick. These farm made Cuban cigars are cracking value although can look quite rustic in appearance.
A wonderful medium-bodied cigar from one of the top producers in the Dominican Republic. What makes these so special is that these long filler Robusto's are under a tenner which makes them quite a steal considering the quality of the cigar. This Maduro version has a touch more sweetness than the Claro giving it a slight chocolatey note.
Even though the Quintero is a machine bunched cigars it still smokes and tastes as like any other cuban cigar. The cigars have a strong aroma of mature, rich tobaccos. With the added age, the leathery & earthy flavours really come alive. The subtle complexities found in the younger Quinteros, really come forward.
Fantastic cigar for its price. Slightly pepper taste. Ideal for alternative to Montecristo and the stronger Nicaraguan & Mexican cigars.
Fantastic cigar for the price. Slightly peppery taste and an ideal alternative to Montecristo and the stronger Nicaraguan & Mexican cigars. A classic Cuban Country Cigar, something commonly smoked by Cubans themselves.

At first glance this cigar looks very rough and loosely rolled, but smokes evenly. This lightly flavoured cigar offers slightly tangy undertones and mellow roasted flavours. Great for an introduction to Cuban cigars.
Using a a selection of fine Nicaraguan tobacco's infused with the essence of Nicaraguan coffee, this is like smoking a richly flavoured, slightly sweet expresso. Like a good coffee too, the flavours linger, gently coating the tongue. I think I will need a double!
From the same producer that gave us the Cigar Of The Year for 2016 (Andalusian Bull) comes this rather natty little smoke that has bags of flavour. Measuring a mere 4 inches by 34 ring gauge, these little cigars offer a medium-bodied smoke at a phenomenally exceptional price.

A medium to full bodied smoke from the Rocky Patel stable. Initially quite peppery which comes from the 5 year Ecuadorian wrapper but this settles down somewhat before some very pleasant spices take over.
Made using a blend of Nicaraguan and Dominican filler tobaccos from as early as 1992. Wrapped in a delicious Honduran maduro wrapper resulting in a wonderful sweet and fragrant smoke.
This small cigar packs a lot of flavour for a budget bundle cigar. It begins a little bitter with a slightly salty taste, once you are half way down the bitterness fades giving way to a sweeter and slightly creamy flavour. The salty, bitter taste isn't to everyone's liking, but worth a try nevertheless.
Made solely for the UK market, this small Petit Corona is made from a blend of Nicaraguan & Indonesian tobacco. The result is a light cigar with a complex array of flavours, beginning cedary and grassy and as the smoke progresses more coffee & leathery flavours can be found. While not packing as much flavour as the larger sizes, this little Petit Corona holds its own and doesn't disappoint. The slightly lighter flavours make this an ideal first cigar or short daytime smoke for the more experienced smokers.
In today's age of the sneaky ‘back-door smoke, the No 5 is perfect. All the greatest attributes of the longer Montecristo’s are here in abundance. Still one of the best value Cuban cigars on the market.
A complex and exciting blend that reflects the character of Sir Winston Churchill. The blend features tobaccos from multiple origins and includes 5 fillers tobaccos and a dark brown oily Ecuadorian wrapper. These are silky smooth and thoroughly enjoyable.
Brand new and a direct replacement for the Spitfires. These Dominican Republic cigars offer up a creamy textured cigar that has a pleasantly rounded smoke. Light and easy on the palate with a soft, reasonably long finish.
One of the most popular Tatuaje cigars on sale in the UK. Made using traditional cuban methods and left with a unfinished foot. The cigar smokes about 20 mins long and is ideal for lunch breaks and when there just isnt time for a 40-60 min smoke.
Packed full of earthy smoke with well balanced hints of coffee and spice.
A very easy going, medium-bodied smoke at a cracking price. Great value when compared to many European brands at the same kind of price.
A very easy going smoke that offers up some slightly sweet earthy characteristics. Mellow and gentle.
One of the lightest cigars we offer. Its low cost and subtle flavour makes this cigar ideal for the occasional smoker and as a regular day to day smoke. The Dominican tobacco provides light roasted, almost cigarette flavours. This small vitola could be inhaled with the smoker hardly noticing, this said it still outranks its machine made European counterparts.
Unlike the Petit and Tres Petit Coronas the Robusto has a little more to the flat roasted flavours, the wider girth gives this light Dominican budget cigar a little more cocoa and coffee undertones. A great mellow cigar.
Private Stock are made from offcuts and other selected mature tobaccos by Davidoff. The flavours are similar to the standard white label series of the Davidoff range, With their subtle roasted flavours these cigars are fantastic value for money considering its a Davidoff in disguise. Each cigar is individually humidor fresh sealed in cellophane packs which will keep these cigars fresh up to 60 days outside a humidor (If kept out of direct sunlight and at a constant room temperature)
SPICY AND ROBUST! Made exclusively by hand and entirely of Nicaraguan harvested tobaccos. This cigar is an ultra robust, spicy smoke with an earthy finish, unbridled body and aroma, which showcases the authentic Nicaraguan puro.
