With great anticipation (and a little trepidation too), we announce that our next cigar evening will be a LIVE IN PERSON event. Yes, you are reading this correctly! It was last August when we were last in the position to hold such an event, however, we feel that the time is now right for us all to get together for a (socially distanced) cigar or two.

We are also delighted to announce that we will be featuring the cigars of one of my favourite producers, Rocky Patel. Last October we had the pleasure of having Rocky join us, live from his yacht in Miami harbour, on a virtual herf to discuss his cigars. During the event, Rocky was smoking his then-latest release, the Rocky Patel Quarter Century Robusto, which at the time, was not available in the UK. It has now however arrived and is stunning, and will feature on this particular evening.

A couple of years back Rocky won Cigar Of The Year for the Grand Reserve Toro. This phenomenal smoke is a classic! Quite full-bodied with amazing intensity and wonderful flavours throughout. For the tasting we will be trying the Toro's little brother, the Grand Reserve Robusto - It has the same great intensity and is absolutely wonderful.

Since this is our first cigar event in a year, we want to celebrate the momentous occasion by having a little prize draw, the prize for which will be a ROCKY PATEL PARTY CASE. This exquisite, briefcase styled, drinks cabinet/cigar case is perfect for taking a few sticks and a bottle on a road trip and losing yourself to the moment. This prize is open to all in-person attendees on the night - you have to be in it to win it!

Names will be put into a hat and the winner will be drawn at random so everyone stands an equal chance of winning this wonderful prize.

The evening will be held at a new venue for us, Thea Caffe on Low Pavement in Nottingham city centre and will start at 7pm on Wednesday the 23rd of June. Thea Caffe is a wonderful new restaurant that only opened its doors recently and we are deeply honoured to be invited along to hold our first in-person cigar event of the year there. Places (WHICH ARE BEING CAPPED) are priced at £30 per person and you can book them HERE.
